Did you know that some trees are more allergic than others? I didn’t realize this until I read the New York Times opinion article by Thomas Leo Ogren. Male trees make more pollen than female trees, the male trees are chosen as city street trees because they are “cleaner” they produce no fruit or seed pods to litter the streets.
